The Village House is a shared housing setup, where each tenant has a private room, but share a bathroom with their floor and a kitchen with the house. Village House is just behind the University Village and situated in a quiet neighborhood, within a few minutes walk to the UW, parks, and hiking/biking trails, including the Burke Gilman Trail. Restaurants, cafes, bookstores, and clothes stores are all within minutes' walking distance. This house is located between the Children's Hospital and University Hospital, with the Eastside a quick car trip away.

The apartments have on-site coin-operated washing machines and dryers (3 washers and 4 dryers) and a responsive on-site manager. Seventy percent of the tenants are quiet graduate students or research scholars.

Quiet tenants preferred; no partiers, no smoking, no pets. The current tenants are friendly, quiet graduate or senior students.
